Most trainer software was built for big gym chains and then squeezed down to fit independent coaches. We started the other way around: with one trainer, one phone, one busy afternoon.
TrainerBuddy started in Amsterdam in 2025. Our co-founder kept watching brilliant coaches lose evenings to spreadsheets, WhatsApp threads, and chasing payments. The available tools cost more than rent and still couldn't tell you who paid for last week's session.
So we built the opposite. A clean, mobile-first app that does the four things every trainer actually needs — schedule, clients, notes, billing — for €1 per active client per month.
